So, there's one more game to go until the curtain falls over the NFL season. No more Pick 'Ems, no more discussions on Cutlers interceptions, no more threads from THUNDERBIRD laughing at the latest team to get beaten by the Cowboys.
It seems only yesterday that I tuned into the Titans @ Steelers game and now the season is over.
I don't know what I'm going to do. It's easy for you guys in the US because you have the NFL Network. You can watch the Chargers lose to...

So...the Arizona Cardinals have been knocked out of the play-offs. That's a little disapointing to be honest. I really did think we could beat the Saints.
That prediction ended when the Saints scored their 5th TD in the first half to put the score at 35-14. I know a lot of people will say "Look at the Packers game! Look how they came back and almost won!". But I noticed something about that game and the one played yesterday - both the Packers and Cardinals D was...

I thought I'd write a blog about what it's like to be an NFL fan in the UK.
A lot of you have probably figured that I love NFL. It's pretty much my #1 Favourite Sport now. I look forward to Sunday evenings sitting down with a cup of tea (with milk in it) and watching some "football". See? I even call it football! Football over here is called soccer in the United States. That shows dedication if I call it football and not "american football" - which is too...

I've just been thinking.
Why doesn't the NFL have more international players? Surely having some players from other countries will increase the appeal of the sport?
The other major US sports do. In NHL there's a lot of Eastern European and Scandiniavian players as well as American and Canadien. Baseball has a few Japanese, Costa Ricans, and Cuban players too. Even basketball has a bunch of Greeks, Chinese, and Brits (Luol Deng!).
The only international...

Cricket is just about the most boring sport ever invented.
A traditional game of cricket lasts all day. It starts at 10am, stops at 1pm for lunch, starts again at 2pm, then can stop again at around 5pm for dinner, then it continues until around 7pm or until the Umpire decides the light is too bad to continue.
It's traditionally played in the summer and when it get's too wet and cold to play in England, the national team trvels to Australia or India or somehwere hot...
